[12:08]blu256: Is TGW alright? I have been getting 503 Service Unavailable once in a while since yesterday
[12:08]blu256: It's pretty annoying
[12:09]micheleC: occasionally there have been some access issues recently
[12:10]micheleC: but after a while it seems to settles.
[12:10]blu256: Do we know the reason behind?
[12:10]micheleC: there were a few VPS crashes due to ZFS panics. But this time it wasn't the same case
[12:11]micheleC: not sure if Slavek has had a better look at it
[12:11]micheleC: good to see you online btw
[12:17]blu256: yeah it's been a while since I've been on IRC
[12:17]blu256: might have to log out in a bit though
[12:23]micheleC: would be good if you show up sometimes, so we can discuss on what to do next :-)
[12:24]blu256: ok
[12:25]blu256: btw have you seen TDE/tdebase#502 ?
[12:25]tde-bot: [TGW][tdebase] #502 - Imrpovements for suspend support
[12:25]tde-bot: https://mirror.git.trinitydesktop.org/gitea/TDE/tdebase/pulls/502
[12:25]micheleC: yes, but I need tofind some free time to read more carefully and do some tests
[12:25]micheleC: so I will comment some times during the week
[12:26]blu256: ok just making sure
[12:27]micheleC: (y)
[12:27]blu256: I understand free time can be a problem :-)
[12:27]micheleC: yeah.... too many things to do. + family and work too
[12:29]blu256: even as a student I struggle to find free time and balance it between so many things
[12:30]SlavekB: For the last two or three days, I observe that quite often memory is exhausted at VPS, leading to the awakening of OOM Killer :(
[12:30]blu256: so I sometimes can't respond right away, and sometimes it takes me a few days even to merge PRs
[12:31]blu256: SlavekB: seems likely, TDE seems to be steadily growing in recent years after all so I assume the project's needs are too
[12:31]micheleC: @SlavekB: some months/years ago we had a similar issue with memory getting exhausted. That time it was related to the RPM share disk and apache cache, if I remember correctly
[12:31]micheleC: worth checking if it is the same issue again.
[12:36]SlavekB: The problem that showed in connection with RPM was a bit different in that the apache processes were hang due to poor availability of the NFS source on which RPM packages are stored.
[12:37]SlavekB: Now it seems that apache processes are higher amounts due to higher use of the CGit interface.
[12:38]blu256: CGit? Isn't CGit the lightweight interface?
[12:38]SlavekB: Yes, but if someone is cloning or downloading tarballs for example for tde-i18n repository, that's difficult.
[12:39]SlavekB: When there are more and more processes to grow there, where everyone consumes "something small amount of memory", this leads to memory filling.
[12:41]micheleC: maybe we should move "normal cloning" off to the main tde box and keep VPS for devs
