echedey: A little thing I saw today.

echedey: I was not able to use the HDMI output in Trinity because it seems that is not detected by KMix and aRTS.

echedey: ALSA detects it correctly even if I cannot modify the volume on it.

micheleC: kmix should detects the same things as ALSA does, normally. But there are some cases reported where the two were doing different things, it comes down to the underline hw

micheleC: uhm... not sure to be honest. Other than debugging it and understand what KMix sees.

echedey: i ask this because i was setting debian with trinity in a raspbery pi 400 which doesn't have audio ports

echedey: the other solution is audio over usb which i think will work

pitriss: Alsa. It works.. needed to specify default sound card and disable HDMI sound via some overays but works great

echedey: thank you, i use devuan in my current pc with trinity too but didnt know that builder exist and had no time to do debootstrapping by hand

pitriss: you don't need to.. Guys have already full images with base system :)
