[00:00] | larbob: X11 was installed as part of the process of building trinity, on your builds do you have X installed already, from binary packages perhaps? |
[00:00] | larbob: wonder what the difference is, obviously someone else had the issue too |
[00:00] | SlavekB: on my test machine I have Xorg stuff installed from binary package. |
[00:02] | larbob: hm, i wonder if somehow that's the difference? |
[00:15] | larbob: same thing after installing the binary packages, wtf |
[00:15] | larbob: what exactly do you do to set up the test system? |
[00:29] | larbob: if I just extract the imlib tarball and run ./configure with no args it finds X properly |
[00:33] | larbob: yeah, so extracting the imlib tarball and doing ./configure --sysconfdir=/usr/local/etc/imlib --disable-modules --prefix=/usr/local --localstatedir=/var --mandir=/usr/local/man --disable-silent-rules --infodir=/usr/local/share/info/ --build=i386-portbld-freebsd13.0 exactly as the port does works fine |
[00:33] | larbob: allowing the port to extract it then doing that* so it has the patches and etc |
[00:34] | larbob: so something about what the port recipe is doing is messing things up |
[00:34] | larbob: this is a clean, updated 13 install |
[03:07] | selk has quit |
[17:39] | raso has quit (Quit: WeeChat 3.4) |
[17:40] | raso has joined |
