[13:51]pitriss: Hi guys, I have question about dual head setup.. My screens connected to my lenovo T430i dock are 2x FHD screens.. left one is normal orientation, right one is in pivot mode, aligned by the bottom edge.. ..I somehow managed to make it work (needs manual switching though) but when it switches, desktop icons are unreachable because they are stuck on top of invisible desktop. Any command sycoca call etc to redesign them?

[13:56]pitriss: BTW Slavek if I can help with some testing about dual head setups, let me know.. My life seems to be at least a bit back in tracks, so I can have some spare time to help again.. (Finally after such shitty 8 months long hell :D)
[13:57]pitriss: And another question.. does TDE have some mechanism to disable actions bound to close Notebook lid?
[14:23]SlavekB: If you use tdepowersave, the reaction to close the lid should be adjustable there.
[14:26]SlavekB: For icons it is possible to use the right button on the desktop and Icons => Sort horizontally or Sort vertically.
[14:28]SlavekB: Alternatively, you can tap somewhere on the desktop, use Ctrl+A to select all icons and then move all icons using some of the visible icon.
[14:32]pitriss: that ctrl+a should work.. thanks.. and I will check tde powersave.. Didn't found anything like that there..
[14:34]pitriss: It's pity that linux sees that invisible part of screen as visible.. I didn't found any solution for this stupidity and I'm affraid that there is no fix for that as xorg just defines screen as rectangle
