[02:15]tomman: but... Pulseaudio and aRTs hate each other!
[02:15]tomman: as soon as aRTs runs, Pulseaudio will go 100% CPU
[02:16]tomman: killing it only causes it to spawn again, 100% CPU
[02:16]tomman: but if I kill aRTs, everything goes back to normal (except for TDE apps having no sound)
[02:16]tomman: other non-TDE apps play nice with Pulse
[02:16]tomman: Oh, this is Debian Stable on an old Thinkpad T40 (just doing a testdrive to decide if I commit on my daily driver 64-bit desktops)
[02:17]tomman: of course when Pulse/aRTs go 100% CPU, the entire desktop performance tanks badly
