[06:43]Ankokukishi: hey everyone i have a question about koffice as I dont have any real experience with it. If I were to create a document in kword then send it to someone who uses winblow$, would they be able to open it without any issues?
[06:43]Ankokukishi: im debating on whether to keep using libreoffice or not, and my guess is that koffice is a lighter version
[08:00]Ankokukishi: im also having one other issue with images. I went into the konqueror settings, changed the settings so that image files would use Feh as the default image viewer, but the image still loaded into the konqueror window. I want to be able to have a new window pop up to view images. Where do i configure that?
[08:01]Wirlaburla[m]: Trinity Control Panel. In TDE Components, head to File Associations and select the 'image' group. You'll have an option to instead show file in separate viewer rather than the embedded.
[08:04]Ankokukishi: hmm i did that earlier and it didnt work, but it did this time
[08:04]Ankokukishi: thanks
[08:06]Ankokukishi: then there was one more issue i was having that i couldnt figure out how to work around: When i select multiple video files in konqueror so that i can watch them consecutively in mpv, it only plays a single video. Is there a setting I can go into to change that behavior?
[08:11]Ankokukishi: this playing of a single video only happens when i press enter to open the files, if i left click and select mpv player, itll create the playlist

[22:35]mateusr22: hello, can anyone tell me why i can`t get konqueror to run as root?
[22:35]mateusr22: because i have been trying to run konqueror as root using konsole and the usual sudo and su commands and i still can`t run it as root.
[22:53]Wirlaburla[m]: any output?
[22:55]mateusr22: it basically just says that the command wasn`t found
[22:55]mateusr22: tried typing trinity-konqueror. konqueror and konqueror-trinity
[22:56]Wirlaburla[m]: What distro? `echo $TDEDIR` ?
[22:58]mateusr22: Mageia 8 x86_64 and /opt/trinity
[22:59]Wirlaburla[m]: I imagine /opt/trinity/bin isn't in your path, so you would do `sudo /opt/trinity/bin/konqueror`.
[22:59]mateusr22: ok, i will try that
[23:03]mateusr22: it did the trick!
[23:03]mateusr22: thanks for helping!
[23:03]Wirlaburla[m]: Not a problem.
[23:31]MaxJenius: is there a way to use a plugin like umatrix in konqueror?
