[03:22] | tobgoblin: Hi all, I'm on Arch Linux and I've added the Trinity repository to Pacman. After updating and upgrading every package on the system, I've attempted to install the "tde-meta" package, and I've run into a wall of unresolved dependencies. |
[03:23] | tobgoblin: Things like this: |
[03:23] | tobgoblin: ------------------------------------ |
[03:23] | tobgoblin: warning: cannot resolve "openssl-1.0", a dependency of "tde-tdelibs" |
[03:23] | tobgoblin: warning: cannot resolve "tde-tdelibs", a dependency of "tde-tork" |
[03:23] | tobgoblin: warning: cannot resolve "tde-tork", a dependency of "tde-meta" |
[03:23] | tobgoblin: warning: cannot resolve "openssl-1.0", a dependency of "tde-tdelibs" |
[03:24] | tobgoblin: warning: cannot resolve "tde-tdelibs", a dependency of "tde-tdebase" |
[03:24] | tobgoblin: warning: cannot resolve "openssl-1.0", a dependency of "tde-tdebase" |
[03:24] | tobgoblin: ------------------------------------ |
[03:31] | tobgoblin: I've just found out that OpenSSL 1.0 is no longer in the Arch Linux repositories. |

[16:39] | blu256: Hello, I'm having trouble with Trinity on openSUSE Thumbleweed. TDE apps won't start because of a missing symbol. /opt/trinity/bin/konsole: symbol lookup error: /opt/trinity/lib64/libtdecore.so.14: undefined symbol: _ZN10TQDateTime9setTime_tEjN3TQt8TimeSpecE |
[16:39] | blu256: I have installed the latest version according to the wiki instructions |
[16:40] | blu256: TQt apps (e.g. tqtconfig) work fine |

[19:39] | |akh|: Anyone know which platforms TDE is officially supported on? |
[19:39] | |akh|: The ones I'm aware of are Linux, FreeBSD, and Solaris. Are there any others? |
[20:24] | SlavekB: As far as I know, there have been some tests done on other BSD systems (eg NetBSD) - see Obach's contribuions on portability. But for other systems I am not aware of anyone doing any attempts. |
[20:45] | |akh|: I'm updating some code (kdf) which is reading fstab. Currently it supports Linux/FreeBSD and Solaris syntax. I reckon that if there are any OSes to add I might as well do them now. |
