[16:22]m1k3: Anyone else run into a situation where you copy directories (e.g. Documents) from an external drive to your home directory and the directory icon changes to a generic file one?
[16:25]m1k3: Here's an example: 4https://files.catbox.4moe/94vzpkn.png
[17:29]SlavekB: m1k3, in the directories there may be a ".directory" file that can contain the information used to display a folder. Is it possible that you copied such files there and these influenced the way of displaying folders?
[19:00]m1k3: 4SlavekB: Yep! That was it. Thanks for teaching me something new. :-)
[19:02]m1k3: Is there a way to get Konqueror to stop recreating Public and Templates directories if you delete them in Home?
[19:03]SlavekB: You can reconfigure standard XDG paths in Control Center.
[19:05]m1k3: Do they have to exist though? For example if I delete the path for those two, they still show up in Home if I delete them.
[19:05]m1k3: It would be nice if you could disable them
[19:07]SlavekB: It is expected that the standard paths are guaranteed to exist. Therefore, they are created when missing. If you set the paths to point to the existing folder, then they will not be created.
[19:08]SlavekB: For example, you can set all unwanted folders to your home directory.
[19:10]m1k3: That worked, thanks!
