[01:38]m1k3: Sorry, inverted_rabbit - Kopete crashed on me.
[01:42]m1k3: inverted_rabbit: Never heard of Worlio before but this site is great
[01:42]inverted_rabbit: HELP! I'M BEING STALKED!
[01:43]m1k3: Not my fault you put it right in your IRC name. lol
[01:43]inverted_rabbit: Ah, is my vhost reporting server.worlio.com?
[01:43]m1k3: Yeah
[01:43]inverted_rabbit: I'm using our XMPP server IRC gateway.
[01:44]m1k3: Oh cool
[01:45]m1k3: Do you run the Worlio site?
[01:45]inverted_rabbit: I do.
[01:45]m1k3: Very cool, love the design
[01:45]inverted_rabbit: Thanks!
[01:45]m1k3: yw
[01:49]m1k3: Cool to see you using frantech. I've gotten a vps from BuyVM.net a couple of time.
[01:54]m1k3: inverted_rabbit: are registrations manually verified?
[02:00]inverted_rabbit: m1k3: Registrations are through our website, which requires an Email. That is our verification.
[02:01]inverted_rabbit: You'd be surprised to see how much an email alone deters the common spammer.
[02:01]m1k3: 4Ok, just checking because I registered and haven't gotten an email yet. Checked span too.
[02:01]m1k3: spam*
[02:02]inverted_rabbit: Let me check logs.
[02:02]inverted_rabbit: How in the world did you input your email as just a name?
[02:03]inverted_rabbit: That... isn't supposed to happen.
[02:03]m1k3: I didn't think I did. Pretty sure I entered my email correctly.
[02:03]inverted_rabbit: "email": "mike"
[02:03]m1k3: That's weird. The is the first part of it.
[02:04]inverted_rabbit: Let me clear it so you can try again. That's funny and also confusing.
[02:04]m1k3: 4Ok thanks
[02:04]inverted_rabbit: Well, another bug to look into.
[02:04]inverted_rabbit: m1k3: cleared.
[02:05]m1k3: Yeah, worked that time. Off
[02:05]m1k3: Odd...
[02:05]m1k3: Can't type tonight
[02:05]inverted_rabbit: `type="text"` to `type="email"`
[02:05]inverted_rabbit: Easiest way to assure it doesn't happen to users again.
[02:06]m1k3: Sweet, I'm in
[02:06]inverted_rabbit: Welcome aboard.
[02:06]m1k3: Thanks
[02:06]m1k3: Custom back-end?
[02:06]inverted_rabbit: The entire site is custom. Our XMPP uses the sites auth.
[02:06]inverted_rabbit: So your XMPP login is your Worlio username + password
[02:07]m1k3: Awesome
[02:07]inverted_rabbit: TDE XMPP when?
[02:07]m1k3: They have 4tde-4devs@chat.4jabb.im
[02:07]inverted_rabbit: Woah.
[02:08]inverted_rabbit: I guess it doesn't really matter if XMPP can connect to IRC.
[02:08]arraybolt3 wishes I had more time so I could do something with TDE - awesome DE, like shockingly awesome last I used it
[02:08]inverted_rabbit: I think it'd be cool if we could bring TDE Kopete onpar with other XMPP clients.
[02:08]m1k3: For sure
[02:08]inverted_rabbit: I'm using Psi+ right now which gets close.
[02:08]m1k3: Wish I knew how to code in C++
[02:09]m1k3: I might switch back to Psi+. 4Kopete has been giving me issues. I should probably check to see if any bugs are logged.
[02:10]inverted_rabbit: Last I checked, TDE Kopete didn't properly work with MUCs.
[02:10]m1k3: Yeah, I'm having that issue too
[02:10]m1k3: What client do you use on your phone?
[02:11]inverted_rabbit: monocles
[02:11]m1k3: Noice
[02:11]inverted_rabbit: I've been thinking about trying to TDE-ify some things I use.
[02:12]inverted_rabbit: Most of them are Qt5 so there is something to work with.
[02:12]inverted_rabbit: Like I use Mumble a lot. Think it'd be cool to have a TDE Mumble.
[02:12]m1k3: Do you use 4TDE as your primary DE?
[02:12]inverted_rabbit: Yes.
[02:12]m1k3: Cool, same
[02:13]m1k3: Q4OS's 4XP-like themes are great
[02:14]m1k3: I've tried 4TDE on Debian, 4Devuan, Arch, and Fedora as well but the default themes in Q4OS plus the installer make it a winner for me
[02:18]inverted_rabbit: I'm an Arch nerd.
[02:18]m1k3: Makes sense
[02:19]m1k3: I don't tinker as much as I used to and just want a reliable system.
[02:19]m1k3: I know Arch is better in that regard these days, but Debian is definitely a bit more stable long term.
[02:20]inverted_rabbit: Funny enough, I've had the most stable experience on Arch.
[02:22]m1k3: Wow, yeah that's interesting...I've heard other people say that too. It's definitely better than it was 5-10 years ago.
[02:24]m1k3: So far I've had the best experience getting 4Nvidia drivers set up in Debian. 4TDE picks up the 120 refresh rate nicely.
[02:29]m1k3: inverted_rabbit: surprised you're not in the 4permacomputing MUC
[02:31]inverted_rabbit: I'm not in a lot of places.
[02:31]m1k3: Not a bad thign
