[18:02] | inverted_rabbit: Incase any of you don't follow the mailing list, some are discussing changing the Trinity mascot. I decided to reply with this in support of keeping Konqi (or whatever his name shall be). |
[18:02] | inverted_rabbit: Wanted to share here :) |

[20:18] | emvee: hey guys, when i was using trinity the file browser became notoriously slow to launch and i'd like to know if this is a common issue |
[20:18] | emvee: i might have an idea why it happened but i'd like to know if this was reported before |
[20:18] | waterjones: I haven't gotten that issue on my end :/ |
[20:18] | waterjones: are you using the stable release? |
[20:19] | emvee: well i'm not using trinity right now but i might be using it again |
[20:19] | emvee: i remembered i was using the instructions given on the Debian Trinity Repository Installation Instructions wiki page, installed the stable release back then |
[20:20] | emvee: but anyway why i think why it happened is because there was a load of tabs on the navigation panel on the side |
[20:21] | emvee: but there was nothing to close all tabs |
[20:21] | emvee: i'm trying to replicate the issue i had right now on a vm with TDE but to no avail |
[20:21] | waterjones: weird |
[20:26] | waterjones: My panel used to crash and disappear on 14.1.3 release |
[20:27] | waterjones: but since 14.1.4 it has been fixed (or at least it's not disappearing anymore) |
[20:35] | emvee: i might've been using R14.1.1 or R14.1.2, most likely R14.1.2 |
[20:36] | emvee: but anyway i've digged up a screenshot to describe what i'm talking about |
[20:36] | emvee: https://i.imgur.com/Q5HvDJz.png |
[20:38] | emvee: i don't know how these folder icons appeared on the sidebar |
[20:39] | emvee: but there was a lot of them that it might've clogged up konqueror |
[21:26] | Space_Man: You have a lot of folders on the left hand side |
[21:26] | Space_Man: do you have the standard icons? |
[21:27] | Space_Man: Bookmarks / History / Home Folder / Networl / Root / Servixe |

[21:44] | emvee: pretty sure i did yeah |
[21:45] | emvee: to reiterate i'm not currently using TDE but this was an issue when i was using TDE on my main machine last year |
[21:46] | emvee: i will install TDE again someday and if this happens again i'll let you guys know |
