[12:29]stryder: hey guys i just installed trinity and i'm not seem to getting any sounds from TDE? i installed pipewire and enabled the "pipewire" and "pipewire-pulse" service via systemctl
[12:29]stryder: sounds from any other applications such as chromium works
[12:30]stryder: running debian testing (trixie) and R14.2.0~[DEVELOPMENT]
[12:32]stryder: i've tried forcing TDE to use ALSA but to no avail
[12:32]stryder: last time i installed trinity, i installed pulseaudio which made it work out of the box

[14:46]Fat-Zer: stryder: can I assume that by "not getting any sounds" you mean that at least the "test sound" on the "tdecmshell arts" page doesn't produce any, right? are there any errors on the console? any suspicious config on the page?
[14:56]stryder: not getting any error
[14:56]stryder: might be because its using hdmi audio instead of the built in speakers
[15:03]stryder: no it isnt
[15:04]stryder: now i think i got what's wrong
[15:06]stryder: yep
[15:06]stryder: had to install pipewire-alsa
[15:07]Fat-Zer: oh...ok... good to hear
