[12:05]SlavekB: Fat-Zer, yes, it is a clear choice for repositories in the "main" tree. It is more complicated for repository in "packaging". There is a tde-packaging team, but the packaging for individual distributions is different, so a specialist in RPM packaging usually cannot revise ArchLinux packaging.

[12:16]SlavekB: For stable branches - such as current r14.1.x, there is commonly manual cherry-pick. Sometimes the patch may need to be modified to make smooth merge - to do here is a tool scripts/misc/patch-update-for-r14-1-x
