[04:40]agneli: Fat-Zer: my bad for some reason I was sure package is called htdig :)
[04:41]agneli: but anyway www-misc/hldig is removed from gentoo repos
[04:42]agneli: iirc it was no willing to compile with modern gcc and I can see you pdovided a patch to fix this :) :) :)
[04:42]agneli: so this package will be now part of the tde repo, right?
[05:09]Fat-Zer: agneli: yep, we salvaged both hldig & htdig. IIRC hldig was removed from main tree long time ago just due to lack of interest and maintainers (though it has alive upstream). htdig was removed quite recently because it frankly was dead for quite awhile. Both were patched locally to build with modern compilers.
[05:11]agneli: ach hence my confusion probably
[05:12]agneli: i do not have htdig installed though
[05:12]agneli: equery l "*dig*" * Searching for *dig* ...
[05:12]agneli: [I--] [??] www-misc/hldig-1.0.2:0

[14:50]patfish: Is there a problem with the TDE website? The site seems to be down. I've noticed it's been difficult to access for several weeks. There are also often problems with the mirrors in the early evening (French time).
[15:07]Fat-Zer: long story short, yes... the site blacks out regularly...
[15:21]patfish: I hope it's not too serious. In any case, thank you to the TDE team for their work and this wonderful DE.

[17:33]pitriss: guys, is there any way how to control position of the notification-daemon-tde popups? It is annoying as hell that they are popping up randomly across the screens.. They lack of sense this way.. As they disapperar prior I can really track them with my eyes..
[17:34]pitriss: longer timeout solve nothing as they will disturb work when they popup over something I need to see right at the moment
[17:37]ceux: pitriss: is that only on onme monitor?
[17:40]pitriss: I have two screens arranged by arand as built in tools was unable to set up it the way I wanted..
[17:40]pitriss: *arandr
[17:41]pitriss: maybe somewhere is stuck xinerama support set as enabled but I don't really need/want support of fullscreen windows across both screens
[17:45]pitriss: And my reason to solve it by arandr was fact that TDE tools were crashing my system about year ago.. so I did it in a way that worked for me..
[17:45]ceux: i think theres an issue i have regarding it. dunno what arand is assuming related to xrandr
[17:45]ceux: i have someteims issues where the menue/ popup shows on the wrong screen.
[17:46]pitriss: yeah.. that notification popup shows on random screen/place.. not only corners.. but in the middle of screen and so on.. it is annoying
[17:49]pitriss: https://pastebin.com/V0Tgt6v4 //my xrandr --query output stripped off unnecessary screen resolutions if it helps
[17:50]pitriss: in real life - primary screen is normal mode, secondary is in pivot mode left of primary.. aligned by bottom side
[17:58]pitriss: I found some settings in right click on desktop and setting of desktop.. there was checked support for fullscreen on multiple screens.. I unchecked it, restarted notification daemon.. no change..
[18:08]pitriss: https://snipboard.io/2GONMt.jpg //and thats how random position of the popups are.. position seems persistent and change when it feels like to do that.. I don't know what triggers the change of its location.. So thats why I was asking if this thing can be controlled by those specific window settings as it works like charm for placing apps where I want them etc..
[18:11]pitriss: most elegant would be some kcontrol panel to configure its behavior.. but for me would be enough to know what window app, class etc etc it is so I can control it via the specific app settings
[18:53]pitriss: I dug around a bit.. and as I understand, tde uses knotify to display those things.. so I tried to get some info about knotify and some numners seems weird/off https://pastebin.com/A6Ln83eG width/height and/or geometry does not make sense..
[18:56]pitriss: Maybe bug? because those numbers does not match any possible measure of my screen resolutions, even when i take panels/visible space into consideration...
