[20:38]pyanyaleri: I've written my own build script for the archlinux builds
[20:38]pyanyaleri: It's almost done
[20:38]pyanyaleri: the script provided wasn't great
[20:39]pyanyaleri: and i needed an automated way to skip builds that have been completed
[20:39]pyanyaleri: and I'll be testing it in a clean chroot
[20:40]pyanyaleri: I do need to just need to verify things still for tdevelop tdebindings and tdegraphics
[20:40]pyanyaleri: bc the last package still doesn't compile due to a function being dangerous to use in the source
[20:40]pyanyaleri: but I should have a base pull request in the next 2 days hopefully
[20:40]SlavekB: As I mentioned, I don't use the script in question, so I haven't even examined its quality.

[20:41]pyanyaleri: and I'd like something people could use if just using arch
[20:41]SlavekB: For tdegraphics, additional patches will definitely be needed for compatibility with the newer poppler.
[20:42]SlavekB: Yes, it would be good if the script was easy to use.

[20:42]pyanyaleri: but yeah poppler is the base issue for it
[20:43]pyanyaleri: ill work on it a bit more and hopefully I can write my findings tomorrow
[20:44]SlavekB: Poppler is an "awesome" library where its authors break the API with almost every version.

[20:44]pyanyaleri: idk if it is ambitious but at some point, i do think it would be a good idea to also consider formatting the pkgbuilds to something that would be acceptable on the AUR.
