[04:16]vort3: Guys, do you know if it's a trinity thing or q4os thing: I use q4os with trinity desktop and if I copy something (for example, from a browser), then close it (the browser) and try to paste somewhere else, there is nothing in clipboard.
[04:16]vort3: Things only "live" in clipboard as long as the original source (program I copied from) is "alive" (not closed).
[04:31]micheleC: I have seen this happening and I use trinity only, no q40s
[04:31]micheleC: but I see this only when I use firefox
[04:31]micheleC: actually the thing you copy is in Klipper, but not "active"
[04:32]micheleC: if you open Klipper list, you should find your entry right at the top
[04:47]Fat-Zer: vort3: in general it's an X11 quirk... however klipper (if running and configured to do so) should mitigate it for text...
[04:48]Fat-Zer: hm... it seams it does so only for primary, but not clipboard, so that might a bug...

[05:25]Fat-Zer: yeah... I can confirm now, klipper's behaviour when resetting buffer on an application close is definitely wrong on at lest two levels:
[05:26]Fat-Zer: - if the closing application controls both primary&clipboard only one of those gets reset
[05:27]Fat-Zer: usually primary (though it's likely a subject to race condition)
[05:28]Fat-Zer: - and if the application controls only one it is getting reset to whatever was set last
[05:31]Fat-Zer: e.g. if an app controlled clipboard and after setting the clipboard some other app set primary, on close of the first app clipboard will be set to the content of primary

[09:52]pyanyaleri: Hello @SlavekB. With my pull request, I'll be looking at the PKGBUILDs in particular now.
[09:52]pyanyaleri: In particular to licenses, are the licences in the repo the same for both the source and packaged build or separate?
[09:56]SlavekB: The files related to packaging could theoretically have a different license than the source code.
